Dakocan Story (English Version) Part 1

Once upon the time, about 1990, Wardi and Sukar (Pigeon Jockey), They sorted some bird, and there were 36 unqualified pigeon. What would they do with that pigeons ? They will kill all the pigeon, then Wardy put all pigeon in the one cage near canteen.

Then H Ido occasionally came to Ko Khe Yung Birdfarm, knowing that there were so many pigeon will be killed, He came over the pigeon cage near canteen. He start to select one more all pigeon, one by one the pigeon selected by him, until He found one pigeon that made him impressed.

That pigeon coloured black with some white near its head. Why did He take it from the cage ? Because the pigeon had good character as per H Ido evaluation. While He still handed the pigeon, Ko Khe Yung said to him "They were not good, that's way I want to kill all of them." But H Ido had other opinion to him, " Just try to train this pigeon first, I am sure this is good one than the others."

Finally They start to train the pigeon, and what H Ido said was true. As Ko Khe Yung said "amazing, it fly very fast, and its spirit real real great, fly like a champion" Finally They continued to train, and giving name "DAKOCAN", due to its colour and face were not good one.

DAKOCAN's father was great pigeon from Malang, It's Wahing's bird. Its name was SULTAN, Suroso brought Wahing from Malang to bandung. This pigeon still have Mercy's blood. It's different with Mercy of Nyo Situbondo pigeon. Nyo's Mercy was Ciung blood, one of other Leonard generation.
